McLoone’s in Sea Bright Celebrates its 20th Anniversary

In celebration of its 20th anniversary last fall, McLoone’s in Sea Bright recently held a “Grand Re-Opening and “Re-Naming”, and is once again known as “McLoone’s Rum Runner.”

Many patrons may remember when Tim McLoone purchased the Rum Runner in 1986 and opened it in 1987 after a year of renovations. It soon became home to several of his musician friends, including Bruce Springsteen, who held rehearsals for his upcoming “Tunnel of Love” tour upstairs in the banquet room.

The Rum Runner continues in the McLoone’s tradition by serving many of the long-standing menu favorites, adding new and innovative dishes, and providing stellar service in a revamped upscale motif.

"Everything old is new again at McLoone’s Rum Runner," states Tim McLoone. “We look forward to continuing the traditions that have made the Rum Runner a landmark that created memories for so many who have enjoyed celebrations and casual get-togethers with friends over the years.”
