McLoone’s Announces Plans for Fourth Location
Opening Slated for Spring ‘08
McLoone’s Management has announced plans for its fourth restaurant to be located in Asbury Park, N.J., with a projected opening for spring of 2008. The restaurant, which
will be located in the Fifth Avenue Pavilion / Old Howard Johnson’s structure, is presently being operated as the Salt Water Beach Café.
This newest venture will be part of a major renovation project being conducted by developers Madison Marquette and will play an important role in the redevelopment of
Asbury Park.
Plans for the new McLoone’s will include the existing casual dining restaurant and bar on the first floor with additional seating outdoors, providing a relaxing atmosphere
where patrons can enjoy a meal after spending a day at the beach or strolling on the boardwalk.
The second floor of the facility will feature an upscale, casual dining experience known as Tim McLoone’s Supper Club, and will be reminiscent of New York City supper
clubs of the 1930s and 1940s. This new restaurant will showcase live entertainment featuring “The American Songbook” artists and composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin,
and Frank Sinatra, among others, as well as musical genres from Broadway, Big Band and Dixieland Jazz.
“We are excited to be part of the renaissance of one of New Jersey’s treasures and are a committed participant in the redevelopment of Asbury Park,” states Tim McLoone.
“The McLoone’s organization is one that strives to set an example within the communities in which we operate with regard to social and environmental issues.”
