Philanthropy and McLoone's

HABcore was delighted to be asked to participate in McLoone's Dine to Donate program on December 9 at the Rum Runner in Sea Bright. I certainly was an easy and very pleasant way to earn some extra dollars to help HABcore's mission to house the homeless. We would welcome the opportunity to participate in the program again.

Our efforts to publicize this program consisted of:
1. sending 2-3 email blasts to our email list (about 300 names);
2. telling our Board of Trustees about the program & reminding them a few days before;
3. listing it as an event of our Facebook page and periodically commenting & sharing information to the Facebook audience.
4. organizing a Board of Trustees dinner the night of the event - which 9 attended.

Thank you for the opportunity and we look forward to crossing paths again in the near future.

It was such a pleasure working with McLoone's, you made this Dine & Donate effortless. I hope we have an opportunity to work together again next year.

We are so appreciative to have had the opportunity to join you at McLoone's Rum Runner for Dine to Donate yesterday. It was a great day and we were able to spend time with many of our friends and supporters while enjoying a relaxing meal or drink by the sea.

Some of the promotion of the event included highlighting the event in our newsletter, both by print and e-mail, twitter, email blasts, and Facebook. Copies of the coupons traveled with us to committee meetings and were also emailed to our personal friends and contacts. We reached out to businesses and the Green Drinks group of Red Bank and made the suggestion they meet at the Rum Runner, and it all worked! Also one of our supporters invited his students from Monmouth University to join us for the wonderful evening. Thank you for all your help and the opportunity; look forward to working with you again.

On behalf of the children we serve, our staff, Board, and Volunteers, I want to thank you for the very generous donation.

Your gift helps us meet the needs of hundreds of local at-risk children through our One to One School and Site Based programs as well as our monthly Kids' Club where children waiting for a mentor are engaged in supervised activities with adult volunteers until we can find them a Big Brother or Sister of their own.

Once again, thank you for your contribution and support to help us reach children in Monmouth County who need a mentor.

You made it so easy for us to raise money to help support our programs for our families. Our guests enjoyed a sumptuous brunch at McLoones Pier House in Pier Village. We asked everyone we knew to send out your flyers. The more people we invited, the more they ate, the bigger the check we received from you! Everyone had a wonderful time while raising money for RMH!
